New County Engineer, Facilities Management, Clermont Transportation Connection and Clermont County Fleet Maintenance Facilities

Clermont County has a current need to replace the existing County Engineer, County Fleet Maintenance, County Facilities/Clermont Transportation Connection (CTC) Buildings while upgrading the existing site located on Filager Road through efficiently and effectivelty utilizing the 4435 State Route 222 site for the County Engineer Highway Operation and the County Fleet Maintenance Operation. The County Engineer Administration would ideally be relocated from Clermont Center Drive to a new building on Filager Road that could house the Engineer Administration and the County Facilities Management. The Clermont Transportation Connection offices would be relocated to a new building located closer to the bus parking area as a separate portion of this project. Recommendations for site planning at both the Filager Road site and the State Route 222 site will need to be developed. This project is anticipated to involve the development of the County property located at 4435 State Route 222 in a manner that will ensure limited impact of potential floodplain revisions that are being considered by FEMA. 4435 State Route 222 site County Engineer Highway Operation: • Anticipated Structures Highway Office – 6,000 sq. ft. Conditioned Garage bays/Sign Shop – 3,900 sq. ft. Indoor Truck Storage – 22,500 sq. ft. Truck Wash Bay – 2,100 sq. ft. Outdoor covered equipment storage – 18,000 sq. st. Salt Barn – 9,000-10,100 sq. ft. • Outdoor Material Storage – TBD • Fenced/gated facility County Fleet Maintenance Operation: • Anticipated Structures Fueling Station for entire county fleet of approximately 350 vehicles Easy access and multiple fuel dispensers Maintenance Garage with 4-5 bays Maintenance office/parts storage – 5,000 sq. ft. • Fenced/gated outdoor storage -10,000 sq. ft. 4001-4009 Filager Road Site • The existing Clermont County Engineer Highway, County Facilites/CTC and County Fleet operations on Filager Road will be demolished. County Engineer Administration/County Facilities Managment • Anticipated Structure Engineer Administration/Facilities Maintenance Office – 18-20,000 Sq ft. The building will consist of lobbies, offices, restrooms, kitchenette/break rooms, and conference rooms. Clermont Transportation Connection (to be tracked as a separate project): • Anticipated Structures Office - 1,600 sq ft It is anticipated that this building will be located in close proximity to the bus parking lot on East Filager. The building will consist of offices, break room, restrooms and a small lobby. Covered parking for the CTC bus lot – approx.. 15,000 sq ft
