Description

The Bureau of Prisons has a future requirement for the supplies to repair asphalt at Federal Correctional Institution (FCI) Englewood. The requirement consists of four thousand four hundred (4400) tons of hot mix asphalt. Delivery/Trucking shall be the responsibility of FCI Englewood. Hot Mix Asphalt - The hot mix asphalt design shall be ½” (SX-75 W/20% RAP{64-22}) Hot Mix Asphalt. The Asphalt shall leave the plant with a temperature between 290-320 degrees. Therefore the asphalt plant location shall be located within a 30-40 minute delivery area and must be capable of supplying up to 200 tons per hour. Application of the asphalt will be completed using equipment and labor provided by the FBOP (Federal Bureau of Prisons).
