Air Traffic Control Tower Roof Repairs

The Contractor shall provide all manpower, materials, tools, supplies, and transportation to perform roof repairs described below. Fascia: 1. Remove remaining existing metal fascia and wood substrate from the perimeter of the roof section at canopy. 2. Install new wood onto heavy gauge metal framing of roof as specified with original building design on sheet A6 and A8. 3. Install new fascia equivalent to existing fascia metal grade and color with original building design as specified on sheet A6 and A8. Roof Walk Pads: 1. Remove existing damaged EPDM walk pads and dispose of refuse. 2. Clean and repair existing membrane, prep for installation of new PVC (compatible with existing PVC membrane roofing) walkway rolled padding. 3. Install new PVC walkway padding over the entire roof surface that’s interior to the guard rail system, specified with original building design on sheet A6. 4. Caulk perimeter edge of the existing PVC roofing system to the sheet metal gravel stop with compatible sealant. The contractor shall be responsible for protecting building interior and exterior equipment on the building roof, walkways, and windows.
