Amazon Exhibit Air Handler Unit

Qualified licensed general and mechanical contractors for the purchase and replacement of the Amazon Exhibit Air Handler Unit specified in Moses Engineering. Remove the existing 180-ton AHU and install one new 170-ton AHU. Reconnect electrical, heating and chilled water lines and reconnect to existing ductwork (supply, return, relief, outside air). Provide new valves, controls and duct smoke detectors. a. Demolition will require dismantling the existing unit so that it can be removed via the freight elevator. Prior to demolition, provide temporary 100 ton temporary self-contained air handling unit for the entire time the air handling unit is disabled and the new unit not yet working. b. Install new 170-ton AHU with pre-fabricated parts assembled on-site. All parts must be brought to the AHU location via the freight elevator. Depending upon the pre-fabricated AHU pieces sizes, it is anticipated that some ancillary ductwork removal and ductwork re-installation will be required. c. Provide Alternate No.1 – New Ductwork Supply Grilles and Alternate No. 2 – High Pressure, Atomizing Humidification System, if either or both are accepted by Owner. d. Remove the temporary AHU once the new unit is operating and repair all openings to their original condition.
