Description

Project Category Code: Buildings Rehabilitation/Renovation Description: The Base Bid of the project will consist of approximately 70 square feet new interior library study room and administration book pick up and drop off services area along the northwest side of the existing library. The interior study room alteration area will be constructed with metal studs, gypsum bd partitions, painting, casework desk top area, interior suspended ceilings, relocation and extension of the existing area MEP and data systems. Administration area will include select demolition, cutting of the exterior brick veneer and interior metal stud walls, installation of the new transaction drawer and book drop equipment, new aluminum insulated glass windows and exterior wall infill. Project items include: wood door, hollow metal frames, exterior aluminum insulated windows, interior casework, acoustical suspended ceilings and prefinished sheet metal wall panels. The work will include general construction, heating, ventilating, electrical work and CAT6 data lines. Alternate 1: Relocation of an exterior window unit and the addition of a new window unit in a newly prepared exterior wall opening. Additonal Description: PROOF OF RESPONSIBILITY Potential bidders shall submit a Bidders Proof of Responsibility to the Town of Minocqua Public Works Director, Mark Pertile, 415 Menominee St, Suite 300, Town of Minocqua, WI 54548, five days prior to the bid opening. Town of Minocqua reserves the right to reject the bid by a Contractor when answers in the Proof of Responsibility and financial statement are not satisfactorily sufficient. The Project Manual, with Drawings and Bidding Forms, may be reviewed at the public works office of the Town of Minocqua after September 20, 2022 at 10:00 a.m.
