Colonial Parkway Masonry Restoration

SPECIFICATIONS / CONTRACT REQUIREMENTS: A. SCOPE OF WORK: The contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, and materials required to perform brick masonry restoration on Route 199 Eastbound Bridge over Colonial National Historic Parkway in Williamsburg, VA as specified below. These quantities are approximate and shall be confirmed by the Contractor in the field prior to submitting bid. 1. Provide missing brick at top corbel on both elevations of bridge - 175 LF 2. Repoint bed joints above and below existing top corbel to remain - 230 LF 3. Provide missing brick at Railing Capstones - 20 EA. 4. Repoint all 4 corner breast walls and railing capstones - 80 SF The Contractor shall: 1. Be responsible for gathering and disposing of all debris at no cost to VDOT. Work area shall be clean and neat of debris. Any trimming or weeding necessary to access work shall be performed by the Contractor. 2. Perform work without damage to any surrounding areas. Any disturbed areas damaged outside agreed upon site, shall be repaired at contractors expense Question Deadline 09/11/2023 at 5:00 PM ET
