Terminal A Renovations Phase III, Front Door Modernization

The City of San Antonio, Transportation & Capital Improvements Department on behalf of the Aviation Department. Is seeking qualifications and Request for Competitive Sealed Proposals from qualified firm(s) to provide construction services for the Terminal A Renovation Phase III, Front Door Modernization Project. Contractor’s scope of work provides for a front door modernization to be performed at Terminal A and B at the San Antonio International Airport. . Contractor shall be responsible for delivery of scope as defined in 100% complete construction documents and specifications. A brief summary is listed below: 1. Modifications to the roadway passenger loading zones to improve ADA at Terminal A and B. 2. Removal of existing commercial lane awnings and addition of steel & fabric tensile canopies. 3. Demolition and addition of exterior light fixtures at Terminal A and B. 4. Replacement of pedestrian barrier fencing at the commercial sidewalk. 5. Demolition of existing vestibule canopies and roofs at the upper level of Terminal A. 6. Addition of vestibule canopies and roofs at the upper level of Terminal A. 7. Replacement of exterior terrazzo flooring with concrete flatwork at both levels of Terminal A.
