Description | Using a Two-Step procurement procedure Greater Dayton Regional Transit Authority (RTA) is soliciting proposals for BUS GARAGE POST TENSIONED FLOOR REPAIRS. Your firm is invited to submit a proposal. In Step One, proposers are to submit their technical data, qualifications, references, etc. The proposals received will be evaluated and ranked by the evaluation committee. After the evaluation process is concluded, an Invitation for Bid (IFB) will be sent to the qualified proposers, at which time pricing will be requested. Please do not submit any pricing information during the first step. DBE Participation: It is the policy of the Department of Transportation (DOT) that DBEs, as defined in 49 CFR, Parts 23 and 26, shall have the maximum opportunity to participate in the performance of contracts financed in whole or in part with federal funds under this Agreement. Although the DBE goal for this procurement is 0%, RTA welcomes DBE participation. Affirmative Action Assurance (AAA) Approval: The RTA requires firms to submit the AAA approval email from the City of Dayton Human Relations Council with their proposal. In order to complete the AAA application process, you must complete the City of Dayton Vendor Application. Please find in Part IV, Proposal Submission, City of Daytons AAA Approval, information on the application process. This process may take up to ten (10) business days to complete. The proposals will be evaluated, and further discussions may be held before the announcement of the firm(s) selected. The structure includes two levels of parking: a slab-on-grade, employee parking area and a supported, post-tensioned bus parking area. The project area is isolated to the areas northwest of the expansion joint at both levels. Repairs include concrete slab, ceiling, column, beam, and wall repairs; epoxy deck coating repairs as well as coating concrete floor repair areas; tuck pointing, CMU, and brick masonry repairs; joint sealant replacements; and cleaning & painting steel columns. |
