Pleasantdale Schools RTU (Roof Top Unit) Replacement Project

sealed bids for the Pleasantdale Schools RTU Replacement project located at the Pleasantdale Elementary and Pleasantdale Middle Schools. The bid consists of providing pricing for a single new RTU at both school locations and all associated equipment as identified in the project documents as well as product submittals. Bid security in the form of a bid bond, certified check, or cashier's check in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the base bid shall be submitted with the bid. Performance, Labor, and Material Payment Bonds and a Certificate of Insurance will be required from the successful Bidder. The Pleasantdale School District 107 reserves the right to reject any and all bids or parts thereof, to waive any irregularities or informalities in bidding procedures, and to award the contract in a manner best serving the interest of the School District. All Bidders must comply with Illinois Compiled Statutes, 820 ILCS 130/ (Prevailing Wage Act), requiring the payment of prevailing wage rates to all laborers, workmen, and mechanics working on publicly funded projects. If during the time period of work, these rates change, the contractor shall be responsible for additional costs without any change to the contract amount. The proposed contract is subject to the requirements of the Equal Employment Practices Commission and the Illinois Human Rights Act (HRA) Illinois Revised Statues, Ch. 68, Par. 1-101, et. seg. (Including the requirement that every party to a public contract shall have adopted written sexual harassment policies, P.A. 87-1257).
