Description | Award Details Contract Award Date: Sep 16, 2022 Contract Award Number: N66604-22-C-0298 Task/Delivery Order Number: Contractor Awarded Unique Entity ID: QA1EKNNNLJJ4 Contractor Awarded Name: Bentley Builders LLC Contractor Awarded Address: Warwick, RI 02886-6930 USA Base and All Options Value (Total Contract Value): $1327403.67 This is a pre-solicitation notice issued pursuant to FAR 5.201. Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division, Newport (NUWCDIVNPT) intends to award a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) construction contract on a competitive basis using FAR Part 15 Procedures. NUWCDIVNPT has a heating, ventilating, and air conditioning (HVAC) requirement for replacement of variable refrigerant volume (VRF) system for a chilled water fan coil unit system to include a chiller at Building 102. Scope includes replacing the steam valves to be connected into the DDC system, connecting the energy recovery ventilators (ERV) to the direct digital control (DDC) system, and electric duct heaters for the ERV ducts. Contractor shall provide chiller, chilled water piping, expansion, glycol system, cassette fan coil units, controls, electric duct heaters, and electrical connections. Contractor shall provide DDC, testing and balancing, commissioning, performance verification testing, and incidental related work. Onsite Contractor supervision will require at least two qualified individuals to serve in the role of superintendent, quality control (QC) manager, and site safety and health officer. The only duties and responsibilities of the QC Manager are to manage and implement the quality control program. There is an additional requirement for a Commissioning Authority. Per FAR 36.204 - Disclosure of the magnitude of construction projects, the estimated price is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. Bonds and insurance will be required. This procurement will be solicited as a 100% Small Business Set Aside, as concurred with by the NUWCDIVNPT Office of Small Business Programs (OSBP). North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this acquisition is 236220. The Small Business Size Standard is $39,500,000.00. Product Service Code is Z2AZ, Repair or alteration of other administrative facilities and service buildings. It is anticipated an organized site visit will be conducted on or about 9:30 AM Wednesday 27 Apr 2022. Further details will be released upon issuance of Request for Proposal (RFP) N66604-22-R-0298, to be posted on or about 22 Apr 2022 at U.S. System for Award Management (SAM.gov). Offerors are responsible for monitoring information posted at this website. The closing date for receipt of proposal will be established in the RFP, approximately 30 days after RFP release. Offerors must be currently registered in SAM during pre-award and post-award life cycle of the contract. Draft plans and specification are attached. Drawing set is controlled unclassified information (CUI) and may be requested via controlled access in SAM.gov. Offerors must have an unexpired SAM registration and explicitly indicate an active Commercial and Government Entity (CAGE) Code associated with their company to request, and then be approved by NUWCDIVNPT to receive, the controlled information.
