Description Contractor shall furnish and install two (2) Transmit Antennas and one (1) Receive Antenna as shown on the "Transmit Receive Antenna" document we received via email. The Transmit Antennas will be DS3A03P36U-D and the Receive Antenna will be DS3A09P36U-D. Please note these antennas have an 8- 10 week lead time. Objective: The purpose of this procurement is to have a contractor remove all antennas from the existing ELMR tower and place three antennas on the newly constructed ELMR tower. Scope: TISD requires the contractor to remove all antennas and cables from our existing 190ft ELMR tower. Once the new ELMR tower is constructed TISD requires the contractor to place two (2) transmit antennas and one (I) receive antenna on the new ELMR tower. Task: 1. Contractor shall remove the antenna/line systems listed on Drawing S-101 and dispose of those materials. It is understood that antenna removal can take place immediately following installation of the new antennas. Therefore, we have not included a separate mobilization for antenna/line removal. 2. Upon completion of installation, contractor shall perform a sweep test of the transmission lines. Contractor shall provide copies of the sweep test results to TISD. 3. Include furnishing and installing 6' antenna mounts, transmission line attachment hardware, entry boots, grounding kits, hoisting grips, weatherproofing kits and bus bars to support the proposed antenna/ line installations. Attachment hardware to be stainless steel, snap-in style. Include industry standard galvanized steel antenna mounts. 4. Include furnishing or installing antenna sway arms. Include furnishing and installing stiff arm(s) for antenna mounts for Omni-style antennas. 5. Transmission lines will be terminated approximately one (1) foot inside the shelter entry panel. Install the bottom connector and surge protector. All shelter interior jumper (Super Flex) work to be performed by others. 6. Work is for antenna and line installation only. Does NOT include any work related to the tower, tower foundation, grounding, Ice Bridge, site finishing, etc. 7. Pricing is based on there being adequate space on the existing towers at the elevations where the proposed antennas are to be installed. Therefore, NOT included removing or relocating any existing antennas on the new tower. 8. Antennas will be installed via standard rigging means/methods with the base of the antennas as close as practical to propose heights shown in the SOW. Pricing does not include the use of gin poles, cranes, or other non-standard rigging means/methods. 9. Based on the assumption that there is existing available cable ladder, ice-bridge, trapeze and entry ports for all proposed transmission lines. 10. Does NOTinclude working around broadcast antennas that require special RF suits and/or special work hour windows. 11. Does NOT include adding tower lighting systems or replacing tower lighting systems on existing towers orstructures. 12. Does NOTinclude painting of towers, antennas, lines, mounts, etc. 13. Work will performed between the hours of 7AM and 5PM, Monday through Friday, holidays excluded, and does not include schedule accelerations or out-of-sequence work to meet project milestones. Reserve the right to work overtime and weekends (with the Customer's permission) at no additional charge. 14. CONTRACTOR'S UNAUTHORIZED WORK PERFORMANCE. The Contractor shall not perform work that deviates from contract requirements and performance work statement. If the Contractor deviates from contract requirements and performance work statement without approval of the CONTRACT ADMINISTRATOR/CONTRACTING OFFICER, such deviation shall be at the risk of the Contractor and any cost related thereto shall be borne by the Contractor.
