Intersection Improvement and Small Structure Replacement

Planning to undertake an intersection improvement and small structure replacement project, funded in part by the Federal Highway Administration. The project is located on SR and begins approximately 500 feet south of County Road (CR) 275 West and extends north 0.57 mile terminating approximately 300 feet orth of CR 300 W in Queensville, Jennings County, Indiana. The proposed project would involve intersection improvements on SR 7 at the intersections of CR 275 W, Country Squire Boulevard, and the entrance to Dollar General Store. Additionally, the vertical alignment of SR 7 would be adjusted to meet stopping sight distance standards for a 50-mph design speed. Drives along the corridor would have their approaches adjusted to accommodate the change in vertical alignment and to meet acceptable INDOT standards. The intersection of SR 7 and CR 300 W would be reconstructed to tie into the proposed vertical profile of SR 7.Pavement would be replaced or rehabilitated if feasible within project limits.As part of the proposed intersection improvements, CR 275 W would be closed to SR 7 and a cul-de-sac constructed on the roadway.
