Description | The County is seeking bids from Qualified Vendors to remove existing doors and furnish and install seven (7) new doors four (4) Transactional Doors and three (3) Half Vision doors at the Wicomico County Circuit Court Clerk s office in accordance with the terms and conditions and specifications set forth in this solicitation. The Successful Vendor shall have all necessary licenses required to do the work and give all notices and obtain and pay all necessary permits required by local laws and regulations for building. Question Deadline 09/26/2023 at 12:00 PM ET SCOPE 1. The County is seeking bids from Qualified Vendors to remove existing doors and furnish and install seven (7) new doors - four (4) Transactional Doors and three (3) Half Vision doors at the Wicomico County Circuit Court Clerk's office in accordance with the terms and conditions and specifications set forth in this solicitation. B. PRICING 1. Pricing must include all labor, materials, tools, and equipment to perform Work. 2. Pricing will not change during the Contract Period. C. SUMMARY 1. The work shall consist of the removal of the existing doors. 2. The Contractor shall be responsible for removal of all debris from the demolition and replacement of the doors. 3. The Contractor shall work on one door until completion before moving to another door. 4. The building will remain fully operational throughout the project and must be able to be secured at the end of each day. 5. Work hours will be between 7:00 am and 3:00 pm Monday through Friday. 6. All delivered materials shall remain in original packaging until ready for installation and must be protected from the elements. a. The County will not accept any material damaged by the weather/elements. 7. The Contractor shall be responsible for fully adjusting each door after installation. 8. The County will retain possession of the historic doors and staff will advise of storage location. 9. During and After construction, clean glazing unit according to manufacturer's specifications. 10. Any damage to surrounding wall will be at the Contractor's expense. a. Drywall repairs b. Paint to match surrounding surfaces 11. Existing Trim & Door Frames shall remain in place and intact. The jambs are integral to the wall and framing. 12. Lock mortises and borings shall align with existing strike plates 13. Provide Data and Product Sheets 14. Finish samples to be selected by the County, upon award of contract 15. Parking, debris containers, and portable restrooms will not be provided by the County. 16.
