BID ADVERTISEMENT Mount Olive Board of Education 227 U.S. Hwy 206 Suite 10 Flanders, New Jersey 07836 Telephone: (973) 691-4000 Notice is hereby given that sealed Bids will be received by the Mount Olive Board of Education for the furnishing of all labor, material, equipment and other facilities necessary for, or incidental to, the LED Curtain Replacement at the Mount Olive High School, 18 Corey Road, Flanders, NJ 07836, per the Project specifications. The Project will be awarded as a single overall contract in accordance with N.J.S.A. 18A:18A-18. Bidding Documents are on file and will be available Monday through Friday from the hours of 9:00 a.m. through 5:00 p.m., at the offices of Gianforcaro Architects, Engineers and Planners, 555 East Main Street, Suite One, Chester, New Jersey 07930, (908) 879-6001. No pre-bid meeting will be held for this Project. Bids may be sent to the attention of Gail Libby, Business Administrator, at the Board of Education office address listed above; however, no bid will be considered, regardless of the postmark, unless it is received in the Business Administrator's office prior to the time set for the opening of the bids. Bids may also be delivered in person to the Business Administrator between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. on official business days. All bids must be duly time stamped, in the office of the Business Administrator, not later than the "Bid Opening Date and Time" as stated below. Pursuant to N.J.S.A. 18A:18A-26, in order to submit a Bid for the Project, Bidders, and/or a Bidders' subcontractor, if applicable, shall be classified by the New Jersey Department of the Treasury, Division of Property Management and Construction C047 (Electrical) with not less than five (5) years' experience. In addition, the bidder, or bidder's subcontractors, must comply with the identification and classification requirements of N.J.S.A. 18A:18A-18, to the extent the services of another prime trade-classified contractor or subcontractor are required on the project, per the specifications. Additional subcontractors, if any, shall be in accordance with the project specifications. The anticipated date for project completion will be August 18, 2023. Additional milestone dates per the Contract Documents. The Mount Olive Board of Education reserves the unqualified right to reject any and all bids or any part thereof in accordance with, to waive any non-material informality in the bids, and to award the bid to a responsible and responsive bidder. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days from the date set for the opening of the bids, as set forth above. No pre-bid meeting will be held for this Project. The Contractor will be required, insofar as possible, to arrange his/her work and to dispose of his/her materials in such manner as to cause the least interference with the work or storage of materials by the Owner within the same limits. |
