| Description | Highway Preservation/Maintenance, Pavement Preservation, Crack Sealing Repair and/or Maintenance, Street/Road Repairs.To furnish all the labor, equipment and material necessary to apply a Tar & Chip Seal on various county and township roads as specified in the Ohio Department of Transportation Construction and Materials Specification Manual, dated January 1, 2019, and additional specifications by the Allen County Engineer. Total number of miles being sealed is approximately 4.9 miles.This includes approximately 32,415 gallons of HFRS-2P liquid asphalt and 965 tons of No. 8 washed stone. The stone will be purchased and stockpiled by each township prior to construction. The contractor will be responsible for loading the stone onto trucks and hauling to the various jobsites on the project.
