Description | Includes but is not limited to the installation of a sidewalk drain inlet at Southeast corner of IH-35 and Aquarena Springs Drive, regarding the existing drainage channel from Southeast corner of IH-35 and Aquarena Springs to approximately 300 feet downstream, construction of a new detention pond south of Davis Lane, and construction of the River Road Pavement and Bank Stabilization. Bidders must submit a cashier's check, certified check, or acceptable bidder's bond with their bid in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid submitted. Award is scheduled for the February 7, 2023, City Council meeting at 6:00 p.m. or any subsequent time unless otherwise rescheduled. The objectives of the Community Development Block Grant Disaster Recovery (CDBG-DR) grant funded project are to reduce the flooding at the intersection of IH-35 and Aquarena Springs to improve the safety of the San Marcos Rehabilitation and Healthcare facility and to reduce the overflow from the gravel pit to Walmart and the mobile home park.
