Gering Area Control Building Repairs

The Department of Energy, Western Area Power Administration (WAPA), invites you to submit a bid for "Gering Area Control Building Repairs", under Invitation for Bids (IFB) 89503223BWA000059. This solicitation is issued as a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. The estimated order of magnitude for this acquisition is $250,000 to $500,000. This letter is not an integral part of the IFB, which is a self-contained stand-alone document. In the event of any conflict between the contents of this letter and the enclosed IFB, the IFB language shall prevail. Active SAM Registration: Offeror must have active/current registration in the System for Award Management (SAM) database (www.sam.gov) to be eligible to receive an award from any Federal agency. By submission of a bid, the bidder acknowledges the requirement that a prospective awardee must have active/current registration in the SAM database at the time of bid submission, prior to award, during performance, and through final payment of any contract resulting from this solicitation. If the Offeror does not become registered in the SAM database in the time prescribed by the Contracting Officer (at the time of bid submission), the Contracting Officer will proceed to award to the next otherwise successful registered Offeror.
