Description

The project involves demolition and removal of existing roadway materials; milling and overlaying of existing asphalt roadway; partial full-depth pavement reconstruction; removing and resetting of granite curb and brick sidewalk; construction of brick crosswalks, installation of sanitary sewer; installation of storm inlets, pipes, and bioretention stormwater management areas; placement of truncated domes; and transplanting of existing trees. Extensive traffic control will be required. The City will require one lane to remain open to traffic at all times with the exception of during milling and paving operations. The project will generally be phased such that most curb and sidewalk work will occur between the Notice to Proceed and March 1, 2020 with roadway milling and paving, remaining curb and sidewalk work.
