| Description | 1. Removing and discarding existing roofing membrane, bituminous and sheet metal flashings, and roofing insulation down to the surface of the existing steel roof deck. 2. Removing and discarding low slope roof gutters and downspouts. 3. Removing and discarding existing abandoned rooftop equipment and penetrations. 4. Removing and discarding existing abandoned roof equipment curbs. 5. Removing and discarding existing primary and overflow roof drains to be replaced. 6. Clearing and water testing existing storm drain lines and downspouts, prior to start of demolition. 7. Removing, and storing for reuse, existing brick masonry as required to install new through-wall flashing. 8. Coordinating with Owner=s staff for temporary removal and storage (if necessary) of existing mechanical/electrical items, and reinstalling items after roofing operations. |
