| Description | Designated roof replacement and related work on the Administration, Rotunda, F&B Wards and Library Buildings at the Michigan Reformatory totaling approximately 30,800 sq. ft. of roofing. Low slope roof areas: Administration, Library Buildings: Contractor shall remove existing roof system and install new single ply roof system. Complete work in a manner required by EPDM single-ply manufacturer to provide the State of Michigan a 20-year materials and installation warranty for the entire roof system. Steep Sloped Roof Areas – F&B Wards and Rotunda Buildings: Contractor shall remove existing shingle and built up roof systems and install new architectural metal panel roofing (nonstructural). Contractor shall complete work in a manner required by the roofing panel manufacturer and fabricator to provide the State of Michigan a panel finish warranty of a minimum 30 years and water tightness warranty for minimum 25 years. |
