Overhead/Underground Relocation for New Electrical Distribution Service Center

Contractor to relocate four (4) distribution overhead feeders. Three (3) of the four (4) feeders will require underground dips with new concrete risers poles installed along Union Street while the fourth feeder (transmission under-build) will be converted to underground through the New Distribution Service Center area with the riser pole being installed on Northern Street. The 600 amp underground feeder will require pad-mounted switchgears with a pulling cabinet. A 200 amp three phase underground loop will be installed and feed out of the pad-mounted switchgears to service existing and new load. The relocation of the overhead feeders will require an outage on the Atkins 12.5KV distribution buss. Due to the summer load, the contractor will be required to complete work in two phases. Contractor will perform all work that can be done prior to the outage and complete pulling conductor into the 12.5kv buss once the outage can be obtained.
