Description

The work includes replacement of damaged, inoperable or antiquated hydrant assemblies at various location throughout the Township of Bloomfield as specified in the bid documents. The work shall include the removal of the old hydrant, barrel and fittings and installation of the new hydrant, including the hydrant barrel, thrust block clean stone and other appurtenances. Hydrant that are removed shall be returned to the Department of Public Works yard. New hydrants shall be painted and fitted with a collar indicating the hydrant number. Hydrant collars shall be provided by the township of Bloomfield for installation on the newly painted hydrant.
