Description

Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Chicago, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project. The work in general consists of construction of new water main, valve vaults, fire hydrants, new water service connections, curb and gutter removal and replacement, sidewalk removal and replacement, driveway removal and replacement, and landscape restoration. This project is located on Major Avenue between 111th Street and 109th Street. Est. Value:$ 500,000.00. The proposed work (the "Work") is officially known as the "Major Avenue Water Main Replacement Project" and further described as the construction of approximately 1,356 feet of new 8" PVC water main, valve vaults, fire hydrants, pavement removal, new water service connections, restoration and all incidental and collateral work necessary to complete the improvements as further described in the Contract Documents for the said Work prepared by Christopher B. Burke Engineering, Ltd. ("CBBEL").
