Street Resurfacing Bid

Locations: 100 Block of S. Michigan Avenue Alley, 200 Block of E. Chestnut street and Bjornson Street. Scope of Work: Resurface alley, remove asphalt alley approach and Pour concrete alley approach, and resurface 200 E. Chestnut Street. Stage 1: 1. Submit asphalt (LVSP) mix design AND 3500 p.s.i. limestone concrete mix design. 2. Remove Asphalt Alley approach 3. Form and pour concrete gutter pan 4. Form and pour 8” sidewalk and alley approach 5. Mill entire alley and 1 block of Chestnut Street. 6. Proof roll alley Pave alley and pave (Two 1-1/2” lifts) and 1 block of Chestnut Street (1-2” lift). 7. If alternate for Bjornson is accepted: Mill 1”-1.5” on Bjornson Street, beginning at the North right-of-way line of Speer Ave, and continue North to the city limit. 8. Pave Bjornson St. at 220 lbs. per SY.
