Description | 1. Removal of all plant life, loose mortar, cracked mortar, and graffiti on all sides of the Exterior Maintenance and Administration Building Walls and Foundations, and as directed by the City Engineer. 2. Repointing and matching missing mortar, loose mortar, cracked mortar, replacing, and repointing missing stone, and replacing and repointing any damaged concrete or stone sills or headers on all sides of the Exterior Maintenance and Administration Building Walls and Foundations, and as directed by the City Engineer. 3. Cleaning all sides of the Exterior Maintenance and Administration Building Walls and Foundations, and as directed by the City Engineer. 4. Maintenance Building wall area totals approximately 2,200 SF, and Administration Building wall area totals approximately 2,900 SF. 5. Remove existing caulk around all exterior Windows, Louvers, Doors, and Round Glass Atriums and furnish and install new BASF Master Seal NP1 Elastomeric Polyurethane Sealant Caulking or equal at all exterior Windows, Louvers, Doors, and Round Glass Atriums at the Maintenance and Administration Buildings Walls and Foundations. Color to match existing caulk. 6. Asbestos and PCB reports for brown caulk on both buildings are included in the specifications. 7. Repair, replace, and finish Wood Soffits and Frieze Boards around perimeter of the Maintenance and Administration Buildings as necessary including furnishing and installing new Wood Soffits and Frieze Boards where missing. This work will also include completely sealing off any cavities or gaps between Stone Wall and perimeter Soffit Frieze Board areas with either Mortar or specified Sealant Caulk above. 8. Remove, modify, and relocate 8 each Metal Louvers located at the Maintenance Building. Modified existing Metal Louvers shall then be installed and fastened securely in the same cavity flush with the existing Stone Wall and completely perimeter sealed off with the specified Sealant Caulk above. 9. Add Alternate #1 – This work shall include furnishing and installing new metal wrap around all perimeter Wood Soffits and Frieze Boards at the Maintenance and Administration Buildings with aluminum coil stock bent to match existing Soffit and Frieze Board profiles and color match existing brown metal Fascia |
