Description | As of October 9, 2023 , this project has not yet been awarded. The project is expected to be awarded on November 7, 2023 Bidders MUST obtain full drawings from Meshek and Associates in order to bid. The City of Altus, herein after called the "City," is seeking bids to construct roadway, parking and beach for the Altus City Reservoir. The project includes grading and placement of beach sand plus construction of concrete roundabout with an outside radius of 66 feet. Also included is construction of 900 ft of two-lane road and parking lots to provide 202 parking spaces. All roads and parking lots shall be concrete. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to study all bids for thirty (30) days prior to bid award. The City reserves the right to award this bid in whole or in part as deemed in the best interest of the City. Bids received more than ninety six (96) hours before the time set for opening of bids, or any bid received after the time set for the opening of bids, shall not be considered and shall be returned unopened. The City does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin, sex, religion, age or handicap status, in; employment decisions, the procurement of services, the selection of suppliers or awarding of bids and/or contracts. Award shall be based on a determination of the lowest qualified bid. "Qualified" is a determination by the City regarding the capability of the bidder to perform the work in good faith, with integrity and reliability as well as the materiality of the bidder's errors, omissions, or exceptions (if any).
