Nutrient Reduction Wetland Project

Bids must be submitted on the appropriate bid forms provided and shall include a bid bond in the amount of ten percent (10%). Bidders must also be registered with the Iowa Division of Labor. In general, the work involves, but is not limited to, selective clearing, excavation, grading, steel sheet pile weir construction, tile installation, CMP water control structure, and seeding. This project includes around 11,900 cubic yards of earthwork, 1,940 square feet of steel sheet pile, 380 linear feet of tile installation, 402 tons of rock riprap, 54 cubic yards of grout, and 4.6 acres of seeding. The estimated construction cost range for this project is $200,000 to $250,000. The Plans and Construction Specifications governing the construction of the proposed improvements have been prepared by Caleb Rasmussen, P.E., JEO Consulting Group, Inc., and are hereby made a part of this notice by reference and the proposed contract shall be executed in compliance therewith The successful bidder shall be required to furnish a Performance/Payment Bond in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price.
