Description

Prime Contract Bidders only may contact ZMM, Inc. Architects and Engineers Attn: Receptionist; reception@zmm.com and request information to access the firm's online ShareFile site for the Renovations to Oakvale Elementary School projects. Once access is gained, Contractors can download Bidding Documents in the form of PDF files at no charge. Requests for access to documents must be made by email, and those requests received through mail, fax transmission, or other online communications will not receive a response. Each Bidder must be registered with the West Virginia Department of Tax and Revenue prior to the time and date for Receipt of Bids in order for his Bid to be considered. Each Bidder's registration certificate number shall be written in the space provided on the Form of Proposal. All bidders are required to be licensed to perform work in the State prior to submitting a bid for this project as required by Chapter 21, Article 11, of the Code of West Virginia. Each Bidder's Contractor license number shall be written in the space provided on the Form of Proposal. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids, the right to waive minor informalities and procedures in bidding, and the right to withhold final award of contract for 30 days after opening bids. The scope of work of this project consists of the following: 1. Selected building renovations including the following as indicated on Drawings: a. Selective demolition and reconstruction of interior building construction including floors, walls, ceilings, and roof. b. New aluminum-framed storefront windows. c. Renovations of plumbing, HVAC, and electrical systems from equipment to be either replaced or relocated as indicated on Drawings. d. Protection of existing construction and equipment to remain. e. Provision of new interior construction including metal-framed gypsum board partition walls, new doors, new suspended acoustical panel ceilings where indicated, and room finishes. f. Plumbing, HVAC, and Electrical modifications and improvements required for the new air handling equipment. g. New electrical power distribution panels, circuits, and Overcurrent protection. h. Total clean-up of all areas affected by the work of this project.
