IFB1,BSFA,2023-0072 21006825.00 Q&As deadline to 11/4/2022 Estimated Construction Cost: $2,900,000 The Colorado State Fair has recently completed the Gate 5 Canopy and infrastructure at this project location. This final phase will complete this Gate 5 project with the construction of four new CMU Masonry buildings and associated site work. The buildings will be used for ticketing and other fair office functions. The project consists of four buildings on the grounds of the Colorado State Fair totaling about 5,800 square feet and demolition of associated site elements. There are two buildings to be built on the north and two buildings to be built on the south of the recently completed Gate 5 entry canopy tensile structure. All buildings are to be constructed of load bearing CMU masonry with wood roof trusses as shown and detailed in the construction documents. Other elements include plumbing (water and sewer), mechanical, electrical, and fire alarm systems. The surrounding plaza sitework was completed in a previous phase so minimal disruption of the existing site will be a requirement though minimal sitework will still be necessary. The project will also consist of construction of perimeter fairground fencing and gates between the buildings as shown, installation of lighting on the existing canopy structure, and installation of steel bollards on the existing site. |
