Description

To implement an Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) System in conjunction with replacing water meters in the City’s water service area. Supply and installation of meters and registers will be performed concurrently with this AMI installation. The purpose of this RFP is to invite qualified vendors to provide a proposal including materials and installation services as necessary to implement both meter replacement and Automatic Metering Infrastructure (AMI). providing and installing the water meters and all associated appurtenances. Due to the existing meters and reading technology, it is anticipated that a hybrid AMI system may be applicable to maximize the serviceability of recently installed water meters. In addition to metering infrastructure, the installation of an approved backflow prevention device will also be a part of this solicitation
