Description

Renovation of a playground / park / athletic field in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina. Working plans call for the renovation of a playground / park / athletic field. THIS IS A PRE-SOLICITATION ONLY: Specific instructions on submitting quotes will be contained in the solicitation documents to be issued at a later date. The National Park Service, Interior Region 2, intends to issue a Solicitation for a requirement at the Charles Pickney National Historic Site, Mt Pleasant, SC. Description: The contractor shall provide all labor, tools, materials, equipment, supplies and supervision to complete a removal and replacement of the historic replica cedar shingle roofing, copper flashing, and copper gutters on this 17th century farmhouse. The purpose is to restore the most crucial components for protection on the exterior of the house. These systems have withstood their functional life and will be replaced with materials that match existing to comply with national historical regulations. The Contractor shall be responsible for off-site refuse disposal. The Contractor shall be responsible for work area cleanup, which shall result in a neat and professional appearance. The Statement of Work has all of the detailed requirements to remove and replace the cedar shingle roof. The Solicitation and all bid documents will be posted to the websites sam.gov and FedConnect on or about July 8, 2022. This project will be solicited as a 100% Small Business Set Aside. NAICS: 238160, Size Standard: $16.5 million. The estimated cost range is: $100,000.00 $250,000.00 All questions pertaining to the Pre-Solicitation must be in writing to robert_solomon@nps.gov. This notice is for INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES only and is not a request for submission of offers. The Government is not obligated to issue a solicitation as a result of this notice. No other information is available until issuance of the solicitation. In order to be awarded a contract, an offeror must have a UEI number, be registered and active in the System for Award Management (SAM), and have completed their Online Representations and Certifications. The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
