Description

Construction of a paved access road for the Class I Landfill Phase IVA cell at the St. Lucie County Baling and Recycling Facility. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, and incidentals required to construct the Phase IVA access road as shown on the Drawings (Sheets C-1 and CD-1) and in accordance with the FDOT Standard Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction (Latest Edition). The work includes, but is not necessarily limited to, the following: Install, grade, and compact fill material to construct access road. Install paved access road including geosynthetic reinforcement, Type B stabilization, coquina, and type SP asphalt. Grade stormwater swales, install riprap and turf reinforced matting, and place staked sod.
