Description

Mulberry Metropolitan District No. 2 (hereinafter called the "Owner") is requesting Bids for the construction of the following Project: Bloom Filing 1 Development. The Project includes the following Work: Bloom Filing 1 Development improvements shall consist of mobilization, bonds, insurance, grading, sanitary sewer, storm sewer, water, dry utilities, roadway, concrete, fine grading, road base, signage, striping and any and all other work necessary to complete the work in accordance with Contract Documents including the plans and specifications. Information and Bidding Documents for the Project can be found at the designated website. Bidding Documents may be downloaded from the designated website. Prospective Bidders are urged to register with the designated website as a plan holder, even if Bidding Documents are obtained from a plan room or source other than the designated website in either electronic or paper format. The designated website will be updated periodically with addenda, lists of registered plan holders, reports, and other information relevant to submitting a Bid for the Project. All official notifications, addenda, and other Bidding Documents will be offered only through the designated website. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for Bidding Documents, including addenda, if any, obtained from sources other than the designated website. For all further requirements regarding bid submittal, qualifications, procedures, and contract award, refer to the Instructions to Bidders that are included in the Bidding Documents. Bidders are hereby advised the Owner reserves the right to not award a Contract until ninety (90) days from the date of the opening of Bids, and Bidders expressly agree to keep their Bids open for the ninety (90) day time period. Owner reserves the right to reject any and all Bids, to waive any informality, technicality or irregularity in any Bid, to disregard all nonconforming, non-responsive, conditional or alternate Bids, to negotiate contract terms with the Successful Bidder, to require statements or evidence of Bidders' qualifications, including financial statements, and to accept the proposal that is, in the opinion of the Owner, in its best interest. Owner also reserves the right to extend the Bidding period by Addendum if it appears in its interest to do so.
