Description

The Project Contemplated Herein Consists of Replacing the Impeller, Casing Wear Ring, Casing Gasket, Inboard and Outboard Gaskets, and Split Mechanical Seal for Each of Four Ras Pumps. All Contractor and Subcontractor Employees Shall Obtain Specific Site Plant Safety Training From Veolia Water Prior to Working on the Site. Veolia Water Will Offer a Total of Two One-hour Training Sessions to the Contractor and Any Subcontractors. The Contractor Shall Adhere to All Veolia Water Safety Policy and Procedures. Questions Pertaining to the Proposed Work Should Be Directed to Larry Koch, 412-417-0431. The Time for Completion of the Contract Shall Be Two Hundred and Forty (240) Days From the Date of Notice to Proceed. Veolia Water Reserves Its Rights to Reject Any Bid, to Reject All Bids, and Any Bid Not Conforming to the Intent of the Invitation for Bids and to Postpone the Award of the Contract for a Period of Time Not Exceeding Forty-five (45) Days From the Bid Opening Date. Bids Shall Remain Firm and May Not Be Withdrawn During This Forty-five (45) Day Period. Veolia Water Reserves Its Rights to Waive Any Informality or Deficiency in Any Bid, to Accept Any Bid, to Negotiate Modifications of Any Bid With Any Bidder and Accept Any Modified Bid, and to Rebid the Project, All at Veolia Water's Sole Discretion.
