Description

Completely power wash entire exterior masonry, cast stone and CMU for the Sugar Land City Hall Building and apply penetrating, water-based, water, salt and chloride resistant concrete sealer for masonry, cast stone and CMU sealer as described below. Power wash process: 1. If water only (no soaps/solvents) sandbag area storm drain inlets. 2. Any solvents/soaps must be recovered. 3. Protect landscape and use barrier methods to protect pedestrian traffic. Sealant application process: 1. Provide safety barriers to protect pedestrians. 2. Protect against property damages when moving and utilizing lift equipment. 3. Avoid over spray on window glass, frames and landscape. 4. Assure all masonry, cast stone and CMU is adequately applied getting product well into rough surfaces of each material for consistency when wet. 5. Provide the manufacturer’s application recommendation for each type of material (Masonry, cast stone, CMU). 6. A manufacturer’s representative is required to make a field visit to review the project and verify the application process for the workers and City Facilities staff. (number of applications and drying times). 7. Manufacturer to provide recommend PSI for building pressure wash cleaning. 8. Provide square footage estimate for the building and the amount of sealer to be used. 9. Installer shall include final clean up including ensuring all windows are streak free from any residue. 10. A project supervisor is required on site at all times who can effectively communicate with City staff. 11. Provide a detailed schedule for proposed work for coordination with City staff.
