Description | AHFC is seeking bids to repair, replace and install components on individual structures in Bethel as outlined in the Summary of Work/Specifications. Project completion for Phase 1 must be completed no later than end of October 2023. Question Deadline and Submittal location: March 23, 2023 until 4.00 PM EMAIL: submittals@ahfc.us. Estimated amount : $500,000 or greater Repair, replace and install components on individual structures as specified in Design Alaska's Schematic Design Bethel Heights Leveling Manual. See attached document. Phase one to include ten (10) properties that are the furthest out of level. Total project to include one hundred six (106) properties. Current goal is to acquire a single contractor for the below mentioned repairs and upgrades. Contract will be awarded based on Phase 1 bid, with the assumption that Phases 2 through 5 costs will be close in cost quantified only by an increase in properties. Phase 2-5 will have an estimated twenty four (24) units per phase Install Construction materials as specified by Design Alaska in Bethel Heights Leveling Manual. Contractor to acquire all necessary permits. Level each structure and install adjustable pile caps. Install pile caps at individually determined level extended within the Pile cap Bracket to compensate for freeze and thaw cycles and to ensure adjustments can be made up or down. Some homes in all phases may need to be lowered to an established height due to excessive frost heaving and ground subsidence. To be determined once contract has been awarded. Replace or Repair and properly insulate utility boxes. Repair water and sewer connections inside utility boxes and ensure proper slope and drainage. Level and repair entry steps and ramps including fill where needed. Repair electrical meter not to exceed 72" at the reader window. The Scope of Work (services) outlined under the terms of this Contract includes all necessary and required permits, labor, supervision, tools, equipment, materials and transportation (including travel expenses), for the work. All work required under this Contract shall be performed and completed as outlined in the Scope of Work.2 |
