Replacement/Rehabilitation of Water Mains and Appurtenances Upper South Providence Contract 4-21

Shall consist of the rehabilitation of approximately 12,000 Linear Feet (L.F.) of existing 6-inch, 8-inch, and 12-inch cast-iron water mains. The work shall also include temporary by-pass installation, the removal and replacement of appurtenances (valves, hydrants and services), including the replacement of existing lead water service lines with new copper water service lines and appurtenances within Public Space, and the associated full depth asphalt restoration of street excavations and permanent restoration of street sections (disturbed during construction operations) via mill and overlay, sidewalks, and grassy areas, within the Providence, Upper South Providence service area of the Providence Water’s distribution system.
