Description | **As of June 26 2023, the contract was awarded to Dalco Services LLC in the amount of $33,586.22 and the work started last week. The Huron-Clinton Metropolitan Authority (HCMA) is soliciting bids to perform drainage work at Stony Creek Metro-park Golf Course. Work will include the installation of several feet of drainage tile, and the associated tasks with cleanup and restoration. The work performed under contract resulting from this Invitation to Bid (ITB) shall be completed as soon as possible, given work conditions are reasonable. o The installation of approximately 2000 linear feet of double wall drainage pipe, combined in several areas o Materials expected to be used will include double wall drainpipe, catch basins, t's, y's 45's, couplers, screens, caps, pea stone, seed, cold patch, etc. o Open trench each run 4" wide x 14-20" deep, backfill trenches with pea stone o The cleanup of spoils o Seeding trenches (Bentgrass seed in fairways, Bluegrass/Tall Fescue/Ryegrass seed mix in rough) o Cutting and repairing cart path on hole #3, plus cost for replacement materials o HCMA will mark known utility/irrigation lines, the contractor will hand dig around known existing utility/irrigation lines o HCMA will repair any utility/irrigation lines that were damaged due to not being accurately marked o Ground conditions must be reasonably dry during installation (determined by HCMA staff), the golf course will remain open during install (no exceptions), work hours are expected to be 6am-2pm (exceptions may be approved by HCMA staff) o Restoration of any excessive damage to the course or property will be the sole responsibility of the contractor |
