Description

It is the intent of these specifications to describe and govern the replacement of granular activated carbon at the Manasquan Water Supply System. The Authority utilizes Calgon Carbon Corporation Model 10 contactor units. Each contactor is ten feet in diameter and has an overall height of about 21.6 feet and holds approximately 20,000 pounds of granular activated carbon.
