Hillsboro Middle School SRTS Phase 2

As of March 17, 2023, construction is underway and nearing completion. An exact timeline for construction has not been confirmed. CSJ 0909-37-071 This project consists of the installation of approximately 1125 SY of concrete sidewalk and curb ramps, combined; 2 small road sign assemblies; approximately 1160 SY of topsoil and sod including vegetative watering; and approximately 110 LF of 24" pavement markings for pedestrian crosswalks. Each bid must be accompanied by cash or a certified cashier's check, drawn on a bank or trust company authorized to do business in the State of Texas, payable to City of Hillsboro in an amount at least equal to five percent (5%) of the total amount of the bid, as a guarantee that a contract will be entered into. In lieu of cash or a certified check, the Bidder may submit a bid bond in the form prescribed in paragraphs 5.01 and 5.02 of the General Conditions. The right is reserved to reject any or all bids, to waive informalities, and to award contract or contracts which, in the opinion of the City of Hillsboro, appear to be in its best interest. The City of Hillsboro reserves the right to hold any or all proposals for the period of time from the opening of bids as specified in Section 00300, Bid Form. All contractors/subcontractors that are debarred, suspended, or otherwise excluded from or ineligible for participation on federal assistance programs may not undertake any activity in part or in full under this project.
