Troy-Sidney Road Bridge Replacement Project

Each bid must contain the full name of the party or parties submitting the bid and all persons interested therein The County intends and requires that this project be completed no later than June 1, 2024. All federal rules and requirements with respect to equal employment opportunity (EEO) shall be in force with respect to this contract. Bidders must comply with current Davis-Bacon Prevailing Wage Rates for Public Improvements in Miami County, Ohio as determined by the United States Department of Labor, Wage, and Hour Division . Bidders must be prequalified with the Ohio Department of Transportation for appropriate work types. Each Bidder is required to furnish, with his bid, a Bid Guaranty in accordance with Section 153.54 of the Ohio Revised Code as a guarantee that if the bid is accepted a Contract will be entered into in accordance with the bid, project plans, and the project specifications. The Bid Guaranty shall be in one of the following forms. 1. A certified check, cashiers check or letter of credit in an amount equal to 10% of the total Bid amount, payable to the Board of Miami County Commissioners and the Ohio Department of Transportation, or; 2. A Bid bond in the amount of 100% of the Bid amount, payable to the Board of Miami County Commissioners and the Ohio Department of Transportation. If the Bid Guaranty is furnished in Bond form, it shall be issued by a Surety Company or Corporation licensed in the State of Ohio to provide said surety. The Board of Miami County Commissioners reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, to waive any irregularities in the Bids and to award the contract to the bidder, or bidders, who, in their opinion, offer the lowest and best bid. The engineers estimate for this project is $638,837.00.

Division 32 -	Exterior Improvements, Bases, Ballasts, and Paving, Flexible Paving, Rigid Paving, Fences and Gates, Retaining Walls.
