City of Ashland, Kentucky-ashland for the East Central Park Playground Equipment & Surface Purchase, Preparation & Installation for the Division of Community & Economic Development. Funding for This Project is Provided by the Department of Housing & Urban Development Under the Community Development Block Grant (Cdbg). This is a federally assisted project. Contractors and subcontractors performing work under this advertisement are bound by the requirements of President's Executive Order 11246 as amended by Executive Order 11375; Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964; Section 109 of Title 1 of the Housing and Community Development Act of 1974, as amended; Section 3 of the Housing and Urban Development Act of 1968; the Immigration Reform and Control Act of 1986; the Contract Work Hours and Safety Standards Act. The Contractor's attention is called to the "Equal Opportunity Clause" which states: During the performance of this contract, the contractor agrees as follows: (1) The contractor will not discriminate against any employee or applicant for employment because of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, or national origin, and the goals and timetables for minority and female participation in each trade and to the fact that not less than minimum wages set forth in the contract documents must be paid.
