| Description | Replace a segment of 4" water line with new 4" C-900 water line along the 300 block ofLaurelbrook Road in Crestwood Estates, Cambria Township, per the attached sketch. This project involves approximately 420 LF ofnew 4" pipe from the intersection of Crestwood Drive to the east; the connection of five residences to that new 4" line; and the installation of a new 6" lateral to a new fire hydrant (American FC B-84) on the NW corner of the Crestwood/Laurelbrook intersection. This contract is for excavation, installation and backfilling, and for all required materials such as pipe, fittings, fire hydrant, backfill stone and pavement restoration. In addition, during pavement restoration for this project, there are five existing cross cuts along Crestwood Drive that are to be milled and resurfaced with 1Z*" of 9.5 mm bituminous. Following installation of the new water main and laterals, the ditch shall be backfilled and compacted per PennDOT standards for permanent street repair. The depth of the Laurelbrook Road water main is approximately four (4') feet. | ||
