| Description | Design and build Verde Connect roadway from State Route 260, connecting to the northern leg of the existing Coury Drive roundabout and continuing northeast to Cornville Road at the existing intersection with Beaverhead Flat Road, and a connector road from the Verde Connect road to the existing Middle Verde Road Phase 1 would include construction of approximately 1.85 miles of new 2-lane roadway that will connect State Route 260 to a new bridge that crosses the Verde River about 1.25 miles east of SR 260. Continuing 0.6 miles east of the Verde River, the Verde Connect roadway will terminate and a connector road will branch approximately 1.1 miles to the southeast to connect with existing Middle Verde Road. Phase 2 of the project would continue the Verde Connect road from the intersection with the connector road to Cornville Road. Phase 1 of the project is currently funded for construction. Phase 2 will be included should additional funding be allocated to the project. |
