**As of March 10, 2023, Project was awarded to Frank Cooney Company for Contract A (Classroom Furnishings)-$854,952.70 and Forward Space for Contract B (Library Furnishings) $502,288.36 for a total of $1,357,241.06.** Notice to Bidders: Qualified bidders may submit bids for project as described in this Document. Submit bids according to the Instructions to Bidders. 1. Regulatory Requirements: School Construction Law (105 ILCS 230/) shall govern submittal, opening and award of bids. 2. The Work is subject to the Ill Project Description: The work includes but is not limited to: the procurement, delivery, assembly and installation of scheduled furnishings Project Identification: 2023 LIBRARY AND CLASSROOM FURNISHINGS 1. Hufford Junior High School, 1125 North Larkin Avenue, Joliet, Illinois 60435. d. Washington Junior High School, 402 Richards Street, Joliet, Illinois 60433. Any bid submitted unsealed, or unsigned, or received subsequent to the aforementioned date and hour will be disqualified and returned to the bidder. Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive informalities and irregularities. TIME OF COMPLETION A. Successful bidder shall begin the Work on receipt of the notice to proceed and shall complete the Work within the Contract Time. BIDDER'S QUALIFICATIONS A. Bidders must be properly licensed under the laws governing their respective trades and be able to obtain insurance and bonds required for the Work. B. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a Performance Bond, separate Labor and Material Payment Bond and Insurance in a form acceptable to the Owner will be required. Owner will receive lump sum bids until the bid time and date at the location given below. The sealed bid must be submitted on the Bid Form provided, Project Name, Date and Time of Bid clearly marked on the outside of the sealed envelope to prevent premature opening.
