Rehabilitation of Track/Platform Bridges Over West 117th Street

Project Location of Work the West 117th Street Bridges carry the two Red Line GCRTA heavy rail train track (Eastbound and Westbound) railway flanking the center station platform and adjacent to Norfolk Southern Railway to the south. This construction project consists of demolition and construction to rehabilitate portions of the transit track bridges and Station Platform over West 117th Street in the Cities of Cleveland and Lakewood, Ohio. Site work includes two concrete transit deck replacements, new FRP station platform, structural steel retrofits, concrete patching and structural steel painting along with minor upgrades to the platform and head house appurtenances. The provisions of 49 CFR Part 26, and 41 CFR Part 60-1, as applicable to Federal grants regarding equal employment practices and Disadvantaged Business Enterprise participation are applied to these procurements. The Method of Contractor Selection has not been determined at this Time.
