Lead and Asbestos Abatement

To provide pre-renovation lead and asbestos abatement for a building located at 7514 South State Street, Lowville. The request for proposal is in regard to the Downtown Lowville Stabilization project that will support the renovation to the former sheriff’s office and jail site, located at 7514 South State Street. Lewis County, as the recipient, will leverage NYMS funds for repairs to the facade and roof, abatement of lead and asbestos, and for the installation of an elevator to create a multi-use commercial space for small businesses. This RFP is relative to Phase 1 of this project in which Lewis County is seeking proposals for a pre-renovation asbestos and lead interior and exterior abatement. The contractor will perform the work that will result in a Clearance Report allowing renovation work to move forward. The project will include complete, certified lead and asbestos removal and disposal from the building.
