Description

Counties: Dist/st-wide Road Name: Districtwide Ground Subsidence Repair Project(s): 41912715214 Federal Aid No: N/A Total Roadway Length: 0.000 Miles Contract Days: 365 Total Bridge Length: 0.000 Miles Letting Date: 01/11/23 Total Proposal Length: 0.000 Miles Contract Execution Days: 10 Special Start Date: N/A Aquis/Flexible Start Time:N/A The work under this Contract consists of providing emergency subsurface ground repairs in District 7 at locations impacted by sinkholes and water-related damage. The Contractor will be required to have immediate access to all materials, equipment, and labor required to initiate and perform repairs with continuous operations as directed in the Work Document issued by the Department. Contract will be awarded at the full budgetary amount of $540,000.00, low bid will set the unit price The quantities shown on the Bid Price Proposal are approximate and only represent estimated planned requirements based on historical or specific project needs. The Department does not guarantee any maximum or minimum quantity, any range of quantities, or the exact quantities shown for each bid item. The Department's estimated quantities and the Contractor's bid price will be used to calculate a total bid amount. This total bid amount will then be used to determine the low bidder; however, actual payment under the awarded contract will be based on actual quantities completed. For this Contract in which specific sites are not identified at the time of letting, the Engineer will issue a Work Document. Work Documents will identify the location, description, amount of work to be accomplished, and the number of calendar days to complete the work. For bids over $150,000.00, the standard proposal guaranty of 5% of the bid will be required, unless otherwise stipulated in the proposal advertisement. A Proposal Guaranty of not less than five percent (5%) of the total actual bid in the form of either a certified check, cashier's check, trust company treasurer's check, bank draft of any national or state bank, or a Surety Proposal Guaranty made payable to the Florida Department of Transportation must be received for each bid in excess of $150,000.00 A 100% Payment and Performance Bond will be required for all projects. All work is to be done in accordance with the Plans, special Provisions of the State of Florida Department of Transportation. Contractors must have a current certificate of qualification in accordance with Florida Statute 337.14(1) and Rule Chapter 14-22, Florida Administrative Code, on the date of the letting to bid on construction projects over $250,000.00 as established by the Department's budget.
