Grease Trap Pumping and Cleaning Services

1. The contractor shall pump (no skimming) the grease tanks empty. 2. The contractor shall scrape and clean sides of the grease tanks. 3. The contractor shall dispose of all grease removed from the tanks in accordance with all local, state, and federal laws governing such materials. 4. The contractor shall forward the waste manifest to Fayetteville Public Works Commission on behalf of the Owner. 5. The contractor will clean any spillage or waste materials that leak from the truck or from the pumping or cleaning process. 6. The contractor will be required to pump and clean all grease traps belonging to Cumberland County Schools once every 3 months, 4 times a year, as required by PWC (See attached list of grease traps). 7. The contractor shall commence work to be performed under this contract on a date to be specified in a written Notice to Proceed issued by the Owner and shall fully complete all work hereunder within the required limits of the contract. Failure of a contractor to meet the requirements of the contract and/or insufficient performance may result in termination of this contract and/or disqualify the contractor from being awarded future projects. 8. The contractor shall agree to respond to emergency calls within two hours from the school system to pump any grease trap when deemed necessary by the school system. Contractor shall identify any additional charges for emergency calls on the bid form.
