Description | The work includes the construction of approximately: 1. Removal of existing lift station components, including pumps, piping and fittings, controls, and other miscellaneous items. Removal ofportion of existing lift station dry well structure. 2. Install grinder lift station and controls, modify upstream manhole. 3. Horizontal directional drill new small diameter forcemain, abandon/removal of existing force main. 4. Site work and restoration including concrete flat work, bituminous paving, etc. together with numerous related items of work, all in accordance with Plans and Specifications. All work under the Contract must be complete by June 25, 2024. The City believes that only a contractor with good experience in constructing this kind of project is necessary. Two factors will be considered in the contractor selection process: price and performance. The process for consideration of proposals for the award of the Project will take into account not only the Contract amount proposed for construction items, but also the proposer's ability and performance on previous similar projects, within or outside the City of Roseville, and the proposer's availability of major equipment to perform this project. The evaluation criteria to be utilized will be the total proposal price divided by the aggregate average technical performance score, as determined by the technical evaluation committee and fully set forth in the Proposing Requirements Documents. Note that technical proposals by bidders for the Best Value Contracting process must be received by 1:00 P.M. CDST on Tuesday, April 25, 2023. Proposal forms are found in the project specifications.
